Idle Mine&Merge is a game of planning. Your goal is to mine a block of land that gets progressively harder as you go deeper underground. Simple shovels are enough to break through the first layers of soft earth but they won’t be enough when rocks start to show up.
You will have no other option but to invest good money to improve your business. Buy shovels and keep merging them to create stronger ones that can dig deeper. You will need money to buy the shovels as well as unlock new mining areas. You can earn money defeating monsters and aliens using swords. You can get these swords by exchanging them for the boxes of earth that you dig. In other words, you depend on the money generated by the swords to dig deeper, but you also need to dig deeper to get enough blocks to exchange for the swords.
